It’s not as easy to say exactly how many credits a PhD programme will be made up of, due to their flexible-length work load. One academic year is worth 60 ECTS.

This period may be an academic year (60 credits) or a four-month period (30 credits), with credits to be chosen in the host university. Depending on the courses chosen, the student may obtain an equivalence with certain compulsory courses, which must then be compensated by other courses appearing in the master in law programme (choice of courses or focuses).
